I’m Rhys

I’ve  been working in horticulture for over 15 years. I was first introduced to the industry through picking and pruning in the Adelaide Hills during my school holidays. This work ignited an obsession for plants and farming!

While studying a degree in Agriculture at the University of Adelaide, I worked as a gardener, an arborist and a farmhand. I also spent 6 months in Canada on a University scholarship, where I studied specialised horticultural courses such as organic vegetable production, turf grass science and plant propagation.

Since graduating, I have worked in both NSW and Tasmania as a horticulturist and farm manager for Australia’s largest fruit & vegetable producer. Through my extensive training and experience, I have accumulated a considerable amount of expert knowledge in plant and soil nutrition, soil biology, pruning, canopy management and pest & weed control.

The Fleurieu Peninsula has always held a special place in my heart, so when the time was right, my partner and I moved back home to SA. We are now raising our family on our own little farm in Currency Creek.

Muller Horticultural Services was established to provide a premium and expert gardening service to our beloved local area.
